Country Folk

Summer seems to be jetting by. We finally just this week had some not so humid weather. Gotta love that! Days have been quite lovely this week. After a long rainy June, and the hottest, most humid July that I can recall, these last days of the month are turning out just lovely. Went with the kids and some friends to Shelburne farms yesterday and took some pics of us behaving in traditional country folk fashion. Hope you are having a lovely summer!

  1. Your kids are adorable. I'm sure you all had a great time at the farm. It looks like someplace I'd like to live. The rooster is cute too.

  2. I know, Yve, I couldn't resist the rooster. He was the only one in a giant flock, but I guess that's how it is for roosters.

Thanks, Connie. I believe it was the Vanderbilts or some such family who used to live at that farm. Very impressive!

  6. You country folk look like you are having fun! I love the hair on the boys but I think my sons have them beat - I will have to post some photos. Looks like you are a very happy group and I am all about happy!

  7. Deena, your kids probably have a lot more hair, as they are far taller :)

    Thanks, Alicia!
